Krone blown fibre
Using the Krone blown fibre system, empty tubes are installed throughout a campus or building and the fibre is blown in as and when required. As new and higher bandwidth fibre types become available, it's a quick and simple process to blow fibre into the existing tubes.
Connections can be installed between tubes in a central communications room so that fibres can be blown directly from one side of a campus to the other.
Telephone over structured cabling
A major advatange of Cat 5 and Cat 6 cabling is it's ability to connect to the phone line. Any outlet on a Cat 5 or Cat 6 cabling system can be enabled to use a telephone, fax or modem and patched through to the phone system.
Wall outlet sockets with connections for both phone and computer cable can be installed to allow both to operate at the same time. Both Cat 5 and Cat 6 adhere to much more stringent standards than ordinary telephone wires and therfore offer much better signal quality.
